RWJ 67657 is a p38/JNK kinase inhibitor with anti-inflammatory properties.
Studies show that RWJ 67657 inhibits tyrosine kinases p56 lck and c-src, and blocks TNF-α production. RWJ 67657 has been shown to block HIV replication in T-cell and monocyte cells. Additional studies report a decrease of chemokine production, E-selectin, IL-8, and COX-2 expression in the presence of RWJ 67657.
